Accessibility

psyrenne should work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom, captions, or other assistive technology. This statement covers the psyrenne website at psyrenne.com and the psyrenne app at app.psyrenne.com.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. These are the international guidelines for making websites and apps usable by people with disabilities.

What we’ve done

  • Checked our pages with automated accessibility testing tools and fixed what they found, including text and button colors that didn’t have enough contrast.
  • Made sure you can reach and use everything with a keyboard, and that you can always see where you are on the page.
  • Added labels to buttons and form fields so screen readers can announce them.
  • Added text descriptions (alt text) to images.
  • Checked that pages still work when text is zoomed to 200%.
  • Turned off moving animations for anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion.
  • Made sure color is never the only way something is shown. For example, calendar items have words as well as colors.

What we’re still working on

psyrenne is built and run by one person, and it changes often. We test as we go, but we won’t always get everything right. Some parts come from other services, such as payment pages from Stripe and videos from other platforms, and we can’t always change how those work.

Tell us if something doesn’t work

If you have trouble using any part of psyrenne, please tell us. Let us know the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. Send it through the contact form or email policies@psyrenne.com. Members can also tap 🐞 Report a bug on any page in the app.

We’ll reply as soon as we can and work on a fix. If something is hard to use in the meantime, we’ll help you get what you need another way.
